Team series Event 2 consists of double-unders, pull-ups and snatches. Men will use 95 pounds and women will use 65 pounds. This is a task-priority event meaning the athletes will finish the work as quickly as possible and their time will be their final score. There is a 15-minute time cap. At the call of 3, 2, 1 … go, the first athlete must complete 120 double-unders. Once the first athlete has completed all 120 double-unders, they tag hands and the second athlete may begin their 120 double-unders. With the double-unders complete, the pair must perform 120 chest-to-bar pull-ups. Only one athlete may work at a time and each athlete must do 15 repetitions before switching out with their partner until the pair completes 120 reps. Only one pull-up bar is permitted and only one athlete may be hanging from the bar at any time. Next the athletes face 120 hang power snatches, which will be performed in the same manner as the pull-ups, meaning only one athlete may work at a time and each athlete is required to perform 15 repetitions before switching out with their partner. Athletes must tag hands between each set of snatches. With the snatches complete, each athlete must once again complete 120 double-unders each. One athlete must finish their entire 120 double-unders, tag hands and then their partner may begin their final set. For every repetition of the double-under, the rope must pass forwards around the athlete’s body. Each double-under repetition must have the rope passed successfully around the athlete’s body twice. This is a standard chest-to-bar pull-up. The arms must be fully extended at the bottom with the feet off the ground. At the top, the chest must clearly come into contact with the bar below the collarbone. Each repetition of the hang power snatch must start from the hang and finishes with the barbell fully locked out overhead with the arms hips and legs extended, and the bar over the center of the athlete’s body when viewed from profile. Every repetition taken from the floor must achieve a deadlift lock out: the hips and knees fully extended and the head and shoulders behind the bar before re-dipping to initiate the hang power snatch.
